Banner Year for Woodstock Growing Project Of the Canadian Food Grains Bank. The Woodstock Growing Project raised over $60,000 for food assistance for Pakistan, Haiti and other areas needing hunger relief.

Most of the money came from local corn and soybeans and is matched on a 3 to 1 basis by the Federal Government. The local group hold Fall Bean and Pork Barbecue as a fund-raiser, harvest celebration and information session. Some Rotarians participate and I sell honey with the proceeds to the Food Grains Bank.
