    Speaker – John Klein-Geltink Operation Sharing
    • Operation sharing has been open for 30 years created by United Church invested in the program as there was a need to start a program for the people that require assistance
    • 10 years ago, opened in Ingersoll due to the issue of the need for food for people in need.
    • Soup Kitchen was replaced by Bull Winkles 2 years ago that provides food at a very economical price and provides training for people to enter the work force.
    • Operation Sharing has been various programs that assist people in need such as “In out of the cold” program, “Food for a friend” program 100% of proceeds go to food cards for the people that qualify for the program.“Christmas Place” partnered with Children’s Aid to assist families that can purchase gifts for the kids for an economical price.
    • John thanked the Rotary club for the continuous donations they receive from our club.
