          When the meeting was called to order, Olga led us in O Canada.
          The only visitor was our speaker, Paul Cluff.
          The only birthday noted was Rick Shaheen.
          Rotary anniversaries were Graham, 23rd., and Paul, 4 th.
          It was reported that former Rotarian, Don Hart, was battling pancreatic cancer.
Don F., held the 50/50 draw. Craig had the winning ticket and drew the 6 of spades. He handed his winnings to Don F. for Polio Plus.
A number of happy bucks were collected: Francis – met Maria’s parents. They have now gone to Toronto and Niagara with Maria. Phil – both his girls recently performed in 4 dance shows. The older one has a job this summer as a costumed guide at the Museum.Rick S. was attacked by a gander that was protecting its nest. Rick was riding a bike at the time and expects
 
 to have nightmares although he cannot collect for personal injuries!!! Robin’s daughter who attends Conestoga College, made the Dean’s List this year.Robert Reid has acquired a part time associate and has a lead to another likely candidate so he is looking forward to some much needed holidays.Bruce C. reported great satisfaction after handing out new lifevests to 2 of our youth paddlers last Sunday evening.Robin and Craig had fines collected for last week when they had been fined in absentia.
          Fred reported that Meals on Wheels had gone well last week with some new volunteers taking part.
          Bruce C. again reported that the Polio Plus auction had earned $2,500.
          Melissa took a picture of Bruce’s ‘Finland’ Tee shirt. Without it, would Maria ever believe it?
          Ifhan updated us on the Golf Tournament to be held immediately after the regular meeting on June 23. Lunch will be at the Bistro at Sally creek that day.
           David H. will be at the Boat House at 6:45 p.m. He will instruct any new volunteers on launch procedures.
          Rick C. reported that the Fun league was off to a good start. Two boats are in the water. The coaching is going well.
          Rotary medals will be handed out on Wed.,6:30 p.m., cost of dinner $25.
          Service Above Self  Awards will be presented at CASS on June 12, at Ste. Marguerite, St Mary’s. and HPSS on June 26. WCI is the only school holding to a fall Commencement in Oct. If you want to be involved in any of these occasions let Ifhan know.
          The District Change Over date is June 25.
 
Lisa introduced Paul Cluff, editor and franchisee of the new Woodstock Snaped Newspaper. He explained his hopes that this being all local and good news, mostly pictures and paid for through advertisers will increase local pride and local participation in Woodstock activities. He also expressed a desire to join Rotary.
After a brief Q+A, Lisa thanked him.
